🥟 *Aloo Paratha – Classic North Indian Breakfast*
✨ A wholesome and delicious stuffed flatbread filled with spiced mashed potatoes, served hot with butter, curd, or pickle. A hearty way to begin the day!
📝 *Ingredients*
👉 2 cups Whole Wheat Flour
👉 2 medium Potatoes (boiled & mashed)
👉 1 Onion (finely chopped – optional)
👉 2 Green Chilies (chopped)
👉 1 tsp Ginger (grated)
👉 ½ tsp Red Chili Powder
👉 ½ tsp Cumin Powder
👉 ½ tsp Garam Masala
👉 2 tbsp Coriander Leaves (chopped)
👉 Salt to taste
👉 Ghee or Oil (for roasting)
👩🍳 *Method*
1️⃣ In a bowl, mix whole wheat flour with water and knead into a soft dough. Cover and rest for 20 minutes.
2️⃣ In another bowl, prepare stuffing by mixing mashed potatoes with onions, chilies, ginger, spices, coriander, and salt.
3️⃣ Divide dough into balls. Roll one ball into a small circle, place stuffing inside, and seal the edges.
4️⃣ Roll gently into a round paratha.
5️⃣ Heat a tawa, cook the paratha on both sides with ghee/oil until golden brown.
6️⃣ Repeat for remaining dough and stuffing.
