🍫 *Chocolate Truffle Cake Recipe*
*Ingredients:*
*For the Cake (2 Layers):*
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup hot water
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 2 eggs
- Pinch of salt
*For Chocolate Truffle Ganache (Filling + Frosting):*
- 400 g dark chocolate (chopped)
- 300 ml fresh cream
- 2 tbsp butter (for shine)
*For Mirror Glaze (Glossy Topping):*
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 tbsp gelatin (bloomed in 1/4 cup water)
🧑🍳 *Steps:*
*1. Make the Cake:*
- Preheat oven to 180°C.
- Mix dry ingredients.
- Whisk eggs, milk, oil, vanilla. Combine with dry ingredients.
- Slowly add hot water while mixing.
- Pour into greased pans and bake for 30–35 mins. Let cool.
*2. Make the Ganache:*
- Heat cream until just boiling. Pour over chopped chocolate.
- Stir until smooth, add butter. Chill to thicken slightly.
*3. Assemble the Cake:*
- Slice cake into 2 layers.
- Add ganache in between, then coat the entire cake with it. Chill for 1 hour.
*4. Make Mirror Glaze:*
- Heat sugar, water, condensed milk.
- Add cocoa and chocolate. Stir smooth.
- Add bloomed gelatin and cool to 35–37°C.
*5. Pour Glaze:*
- Place chilled cake on a wire rack. Pour glaze in one go.
- Let it drip and set. Decorate with chocolate shards or curls.
