🍲 *Pav Bhaji – Mumbai’s Street Food Delight*
✨ A spicy, buttery vegetable mash served with soft butter-toasted pav (bread rolls). A classic Indian street food loved by all ages!
📝 *Ingredients*
*For Bhaji:*
👉 2 Potatoes – boiled & mashed
👉 1 cup Cauliflower – finely chopped
👉 ½ cup Green Peas – boiled
👉 1 Capsicum – finely chopped
👉 2 Tomatoes – finely chopped
👉 2 Onions – finely chopped
👉 2 Green Chilies – chopped
👉 2 tbsp Butter
👉 2 tbsp Oil
👉 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
👉 1 tsp Ginger-Garlic Paste
👉 2 tbsp Pav Bhaji Masala
👉 1 tsp Red Chili Powder
👉 ½ tsp Turmeric Powder
👉 Salt – to taste
👉 Fresh Coriander – chopped
👉 Lemon Wedges – for garnish
*For Pav:*
👉 8 Pav (bread rolls)
👉 2 tbsp Butter
👉 ½ tsp Pav Bhaji Masala
👩🍳 *Method*
*Prepare Bhaji:*
1. Heat butter and oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds, onions, and sauté till golden.
2. Add ginger-garlic paste, green chilies, and cook for 1 minute.
3. Add tomatoes and cook till soft.
4. Add turmeric, red chili powder, pav bhaji masala, and salt. Mix well.
5. Add boiled potatoes, peas, cauliflower, and capsicum. Mash the veggies while cooking.
6. Add water as needed and simmer for 10–12 minutes till thick and flavorful.
7. Garnish with coriander and a dollop of butter.
*Prepare Pav:*
1. Heat butter on a tawa, sprinkle pav bhaji masala.
2. Place pav buns on it and toast till golden.
