๐Ÿฒ *Lauki Chana Dal Curry* – Light & Nutritious Lunch

๐Ÿงบ *Ingredients:* 
1/2 cup chana dal (soaked for 1 hour)
1.5 cups lauki/bottle gourd (peeled & chopped)
1 tbsp oil
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1 pinch asafoetida (hing)
1 chopped onion
1 chopped tomato
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp red chili powder
Salt to taste
2 cups water
Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

๐Ÿ‘ฉ‍๐Ÿณ *Quick Method:* 

1. Heat oil in a cooker. Add cumin seeds and hing.
2. Add onions and sautรฉ till soft.
3. Add tomatoes, turmeric, coriander, chili powder, and salt. Cook till tomatoes soften.
4. Add soaked chana dal and lauki. Mix well.
5. Add water, close lid and cook for 3–4 whistles.
6. Let pressure release. Garnish with coriander and serve with roti or rice.
